He served as Ambassador to the United Republic of Tanzania, appointed in the aftermath of the U.S. embassy bombing. A Harvard Divinity School graduate, Ambassador Stith was Pastor of Boston&rsquo;s United Methodist Church &amp; founding director of Boston University&rsquo;s African Presidential Center. He negotiated the nation&rsquo;s first comprehensive community reinvestment agreement securing $500M for low -to moderate-income minority &amp; women borrowers in Massachusetts.</em></div>
